Ocular oncology

Ocular oncology is a review of:

• eye and orbital neoplasms,
• diagnostic and therapeutic methods used today, with particular emphasis on radiotherapy and surgery,
• immunological, genetic and pathomorphological aspects of ocular neoplasms,
• description of the complex relationships between genetic, chromosomal and immunological disorders predisposing to the development of tumors,
• analysis of risk factors and survival probability,
• well documented clinical cases along with differential diagnosis.

The book’s great didactic value are numerous illustrations such as color photographs, photographs in infrared light and autofluorescence, ultrasound examinations and optical coherens tomography as well as fluorescein and indocyanine angiography.
